A Year in France: Highlights from the Bluemoon Portfolio

As the year draws to a close, it feels fitting to pause and reflect on how far Bluemoon has come. Over the past twelve months, our luxury asset portfolio has grown to more than 1,000 professionally managed homes and yachts across Europe’s most sought-after destinations. One region, unsurprisingly to us, continues to sit at the heart of that story: France.

From the South of France, where Bluemoon’s journey began, to the high-altitude glamour of the French Alps, France remains central to our identity. It’s where our founders are from, where our superyacht business, Bluewater Yachting, is headquartered, and where many of our most enduring client relationships have been formed.

With winter setting in and the ski season in the French Alps now underway, it felt appropriate to highlight a selection of standout properties and yachts that have proved exceptionally popular this year and remain available for the seasons ahead.

Chalet La Datcha, Courchevel 1850

Courchevel 1850 sits in a league of its own when it comes to demand over Christmas and New Year. Long before the first snowfall, Courchevel 1850's finest rental chalets are often secured by those seeking a festive escape in the Alps with their friends and families.

Discreetly positioned in the heart of the Courchevel 1850, Chalet La Datcha blends traditional Savoyard architecture with refined contemporary interiors. Behind its timber-and-stone façade lies a light-filled retreat complete with a private spa, swimming pool and elegant living spaces designed for post-ski evenings by the fire. Not only in a central location, your stay also includes a private chef and in-resort shuttle service. La Datcha remains available for Christmas Week, with limited availability from January through to March.

The windows blur the line between indoors and out and the infinity pool and rooftop terrace create natural spaces for entertaining during the summer months.

With demand already building around the Cannes Film Festival and peak summer dates, limited availability remains for Villa Ophelia across May, July and August for those seeking a villa that feels as iconic as its setting.

Motor Yacht Alluria

Launched in 2023, Alluria is a contemporary Benetti inspired by the elegance of classic Motopanfilo yachts. The 37-metre build proudly joined the Bluewater fleet in 2025 and is currently cruising the Caribbean.

She will return to the Mediterranean next summer, for a highly anticipated summer season during it's upcoming time based in Monaco. Light-filled interiors, a foredeck pool lounge and a Hamptons-inspired beach club create a relaxed onboard atmosphere, while clever use of space ensures guests can enjoy both social time and privacy in equal measure.

Motor Yacht Seven Sins

Award-winning and instantly recognisable, Seven Sins remains one of the most successful and sought-after charter yachts on the water. Her standout beach club, complete with gym, sauna and glass-bottom pool, sets the tone for a lifestyle centred firmly around the sea.

Built by Sanlorenzo in 2017, the 52-metre yacht runs a dual season between the Caribbean and the Mediterranean. With striking contemporary interiors and an extensive toy collection, motor yacht Seven Sins has limited summer availability remaining already, which is the power of setting the benchmark for modern motor yachting.
