Each September, the world’s leading shipyards and brokers gather in Port Hercules to unveil their latest creations. This year, Bluemoon co-founder Oliver Bennett recounts the moments and highlights that defined the Monaco Yacht Show 2025.
Last week, the Bluemoon team joined the yachting world in Port Hercules for the Monaco Yacht Show 2025, often described as the industry’s equivalent of the Oscars. For four days, the Principality becomes the stage where builders, brokers and managers unveil their latest achievements and where clients and their representatives explore new builds, emerging design trends and the technology shaping tomorrow’s fleet. Securing a dinner table in Monaco that week is never easy, which is why we make reservations early.
We were there alongside our sister company Bluewater, a market leader in superyachts for more than 35 years, to see first-hand how the industry is evolving and to host a select group of our partners and clients on board some of the most talked-about yachts of the show.

This year felt like a step change. Builders who are already at the top of their game are finding new ways to elevate their craft. Oceanco’s 111m Leviathan may not have launched yet, but it was the subject of intense conversation, only to be outshone days later by news of their upcoming 130m flagship, signed during the show itself. Golden Yachts’ O’Madeline set a new benchmark for the Greek shipyard, signalling where their design philosophy is headed. Bilgin, too, impressed with bold moves that reinforce Turkey’s growing influence in the global yacht-building space.
The appetite for larger yachts is undeniable. Feadship’s aptly named record-breaking Breatkthrough demonstrated that demand is there and builders are answering with bigger, braver and more ambitious projects.

Across the week, we curated private visits for agents and clients on a selection of standout yachts. Here are some of the highlights:
58.5m, Tankoa Yachts
For Sale €60,000,000
Launched in 2024, this is the third largest Tankoa build to date. With a gross tonnage of 1,013 and seven staterooms, she feels spacious for her category, offering accommodation for 14 guests and 14 crew.

49.95m, Bilgin Yachts
Private
The second hull of the Bilgin 163 series, following Eternal Spark, Camila refines the build quality further. While not for charter or sale, she reflects Bilgin’s rising momentum, underscored by the delivery of the 80m Al Reem, built and delivered by Bluewater.
55.0m, Tankoa Yachts
For Charter €400,000/week + all
A 2025 launch, the T55 Sportiva brings a loft-like modern interior to the charter market. Its playful, contemporary feel and unconventional touches, like bare floors in the cabins, stood out as fresh and confident.

35.75m, Sanlorenzo
For Charter €130,000–€150,000/week + all
Compact but spacious, this 2024 launch sleeps 10 with volume at 298 GT. A Jacuzzi on the owner’s deck would have been a welcome addition, but with features like a sea pool, she remains a strong contender in her price bracket.
60.0m, Golden Yachts
For Charter €390,000–€480,000/week + all
One of the show’s highlights. With seven cabins, impeccable finishes, generous deck space and a thoughtful layout, this new addition positions Golden Yachts firmly on the international stage.

55.0m, Heesen
For Charter $430,000/week + all
The latest in Heesen’s Steel Series, Solemates combines elegant muscular lines with playful detailing, including neon-yellow accents agreed in a single design session between owner and shipyard. A bold look on a 760 GT platform.

Monaco Yacht Show never fails to showcase where the industry is headed, and this year the message was clear: bigger, braver and more ambitious yachts, with builders determined to refine and expand what’s possible. For Bluemoon, it was a chance to connect agents and clients directly with these experiences, and to see first-hand the quality and creativity driving the market forward.
