Chalet Ours Blanc

In the heart of the hamlet of La Volière in the village of Courchevel, in the area of the Chenus, stands the chalet Nanuq. The name comes from a Norwegian fairy-tale of the XIXth Century, The Bear-king Valemon in which a young prince is changed into a polar bear after a curse. Private and quiet, on the border of a forest, this chalet provides a direct and privileged access to the biggest ski domain of the world. The outside of the mansion presents an authentic and traditional architecture, all from wood and local stones. Overlooking the valley, it has balconies on every floor that display stunning views over the vast expanses of fir forests and over the snowy mountain peaks.

Incredibly spacious, the chalet has five floors and covers 518 m2. The atmosphere is peaceful and enchanting, and it goes along furniture that is at the same time rustic and sophisticated like the luster made from deer antlers or the amethyst colored lamps. Upstairs, the kids can play on the mezzanine whereas the guests, surrounded by the agreeable warmth displayed by the fireplace, would drink a glass of wine coming directly from the wine cellar. This they would do comfortably seated in the cozy and soft couches of the living room. Others could prepare dinner in the perfectly well equipped kitchen before getting seated around the table in the vast dining room. At the end of the day, everyone could relax and choose between the home cinema and the Eden like wellness space: sauna, Turkish bath, indoor pool, gym, massage room… an elevator allows an easy access to all these different floors.

The master’s bedroom is on the first floor, the four other double rooms are upstairs. Each room has a design style bathroom and is decorated with modern art paintings. They breathe quietness and comfort and invite everyone to enjoy a relaxing moment after having spent a day slalom skiing on the slopes of Courchevel.
