We are going to jump into some of the most luxurious, exclusive and perhaps expensive vacation spots in the world. This planet is getting smaller by the day, with increased options for travel and accommodation and exciting locations being made evermore available to us. I want to thin down some of the current top tier destinations for you.

Having spent a good portion of my life traveling, I’ve had the privilege of perspective. From broken down shanty towns in North Africa to mega yachts in Monaco, luxury locations are constantly popping up and we want to keep our finger on the pulse.

Marbella

Marbella takes the crown for prestigious locations for vacations in Europe. Golden beaches, fantastic climate and a plethora of amazing architecture and nightlife. La Zagaleta, perhaps the most secure complex in the world, housing VIP’s like Wayne Rooney and Vladimir Putin (controversial) offering its very own police force. Positano

A popular jewel on the Amalfi coast boasts incredibly scenic seasides and of course amazing Italian cuisine. The iconic photo is a must have for VIP jet setters. According to Greek Mythology, Poseidon is the one who created the village of Positano. He did it to show his love to Pasithea, the goddess of rest and relaxation.

Lake Como

A personal favourite of mine and close to my heart. A combination of steep green hills surrounding this lake really frames its deep blue waters, this is a calming place even with the high season tourists giving it a “slow motion” atmosphere. Housing some of the most iconic A-listers such as; George Clooney, Madonna, Richard Branson and Sylvester Stallone just to name a few.

Isle of Skye

Scotland's best known island offering rugged landscapes and breathtaking views. It’s no wonder Scotland has been consistently voted as the most beautiful country in the world. Home to only 10k people (and 100k sheep) and to a handful of dinosaur prints on its softest sedimentary rocks, fairies and folklore. This island is more than rich in culture.

Zermatt

Not the first time this destination comes to mind alongside a luxury thought. Home to the famous Matterhorn mountain, and some of the best skiing in the world it does not disappoint! I must say from experience… it is extremely expensive even in comparison to its peers mentioned above.

I could go on and on with these locations and I shall do - get in touch!
