Bold is the fastest explorer yacht worldwide. Her striking exterior lines and grey build, matched with her sophisticated and luxurious interior, make for a unique vessel.

Delivered in 2019, Bold is an 85 metre expedition yacht from Silveryachts that has been the recipient of multiple awards. With flexible accommodation for up to 12 guests in eight cabins, she is ideal for those who want to fully explore the most discreet places that have rarely been seen.

Bold is the 50th yacht created by naval architect Espen Øino. This phenomenal yacht is also capable of carrying a helicopter should you wish to fly in and out during your charter; her helideck is certified for a 3.2-tonne, twin-engine, eight-seat AugustaWestland AW109S Grand.

Bold Specifications On Board

The outdoor areas on Bold are first class. The upper deck is the perfect place for alfresco dining and lounging - the outdoor dining area seats 14 guests. The owner’s deck hosts a formal dining setting too, whilst the sundeck hosts an eight-person Jacuzzi and large sunpads, surrounded with glass for wind protection and additional privacy.

The aft section of the bridge deck is over 30 metres long and can facilitate a second helicopter. On the aft, you’ll also find a bar, service stations, two rotisseries, and an induction hob, which makes this a fantastic space to enjoy an exciting evening.

She also boasts a large outdoor cinema on the sundeck, as well as sunpads around the large Jacuzzi, which has been designed with privacy in mind as it’s hidden behind glass so you can peacefully relax without concern of onlookers. Those who are looking to end their night roasting marshmallows will appreciate the fire pit up there too.

The main saloon has high ceilings and features brightly coloured sofas and a bold geometric print throughout, with additional furniture carefully placed around. Vain Interiors have carefully thought out effortless spaces. On colder nights, you can also enjoy the winter garden, an extension of the space that is protected by weathertight doors allowing you to feel like you’re outside while feeling the warmth of the inside.

Visit the party space, which cleverly doubles as the heli-garage, gym and yoga room, as well as an additional movie screen.

The main deck can be used to carry any kind of tenders or water toys or be transformed into an entertaining area with the large-scale 40,000W sound system with integrated disco lighting.

Enjoy a view underwater in the evening, as the underwater lights illuminate the seabed around the ship.

Yacht Accommodation

12 guests can comfortably stay aboard Bold’s eight guest cabins. The owner's suite includes a master cabin, a private saloon, and direct access to the exterior deck. Additionally, there are three VIP guest cabins and four double guest cabins.

The Crew

Bold has a crew of 20, who all offer the finest service you might require during your time aboard. They are also all skilled in various different aspects, and there is a strong focus on water sport activities, which the crew all enjoy.

Activities

Bold has plenty of toys that you can enjoy during your stay. From the 10.5-metre centre console Rupert rib-style tender to the three SeaDoos and laser sailing dinghies, there is an excellent selection of toys to enjoy during your time on board. There are also six full sets of scuba equipment and electric foil boards. The latter are super-fast to learn, and within an hour or so of practice, you’ll be flying away in no time.

Bold’s Performance

Bold marked the switch from elegant superyachts to more utilitarian designs, but one thing that didn’t change was their understanding of how to get impressive ranges. Bold can travel nearly 5,000 nautical miles, so you can enjoy fantastic adventures to locations barely explored. She comfortably cruises at 16 knots and can reach a maximum speed of 23 knots, in the aluminium hull and superstructure with a semi-displacement hull.
