Vista Retreat is a luxury living space on slopes of the highest point of the island, 4 exclusive units set in the private grounds of an extensive terraced estate. This is a retreat of peace and tranquility, of local plants and trees, of stylish modern living blended with nature. Exterior

As you drive up the side of the mountain and see the monastery above you and Perissa laid out below, you come to the slopes of the private estate. On the terraced levels at the back of the villas facing the sea are the 4 private terraces. The terraces all have the wow factor, 2 infinity outdoor heated pools with sunken lounge areas, and the two upper suites with stone-built outdoor jacuzzies. There are sunshades and loungers, al fresco eating areas, each terrace is secluded from the others for privacy, or if you want to hang out together at the lower villas, there is seating room for everyone in the sunken lounge areas by the infinity pools. The view is mesmerizing, seas, sky, clouds and if the weather is right the outline of Crete on the horizon.

Interior

The villas are all open-plan modern Cycladic designer living spaces, full of bright white light and pale wood furniture, the fittings are design magazine statue, and there are all the mod cons for luxury living. There are the kitchen and sitting areas, and the king size beds with the best anatomic mattresses and pillow menus for the perfect sleep. The stylish double bathrooms have walk-in large rain shower and double washbasin, luxury bath products and robes & slippers, everything you need for self-pampering and revitalization. Remember Before Your Stay

Key Information About This Property

The Profitis Ilias Monastery is on the highest point of the island of the island, 567 meters, on the top of the mountain of the same name. Visit the gardens of the monastery and the chapel, there is a small gift shop selling local craft products to support the cloistered monks who still live there today, and the panoramic views of the island are unparalleled.
