Formerly a traditional house in the Sidi Mimoune district of the Medina in Marrakech, Dar 118 underwent a complete transformation in 2010 by Ludovic Petit, emerging as an exclusive and private retreat. One of its distinctive features is the unobstructed view of the gardens of the renowned Mamounia palace, making the rooftop terrace one of the most delightful spots in Marrakech.
Designed as a riad with an open central courtyard, covered in winter, Dar 118 is organized across multiple floors connected by a spiral staircase. The minimalist decor features designer furnishings with a traditional Beldi touch, complemented by large prints and photos adorning the living room and bedrooms.
The riad accommodates two double bedrooms on the first floor, one with a king-size bed and the other with a convertible king-size bed (90cm). Both rooms have direct access to the first-floor gallery. The bathrooms, contemporary in style, offer comfort and elegance. An additional bedroom or office area with a shower and toilet is available in the patio.
The spacious living room boasts a fireplace and dining area, featuring a beautiful dining room table designed by Ludovic Petit. The well-equipped kitchen includes an espresso machine. Dar 118 also includes a hammam and a massage room, with a masseur and beautician available upon request, providing an additional layer of luxury and relaxation to this exceptional retreat.
