The reputation of Haute-Savoie is partly built on its gastronomic treasures and its architectural heritage. Marvelous restaurants and authentic mountain buildings are scattered all around the snow white slopes as is the hamlet de la Mourra, the location of the chalet.\n\nIts traditional look is misleading, because the aspect of an ancient mountain refuge hides many surprises.  At first, a spa in the basement with an indoor pool, a sauna, a Turkish bath and a massage room. An elevator can lead one to the cinema room on the upper floor or to the living room on the last floor. A large room crossed by massive beams with communicating living and dining rooms and kitchen, they all are set around a superb fire place.\n\nThe region’s main material, wood, is displayed on walls, floors and ceilings, including in the bedrooms. Beautiful suites with private bathrooms and benefiting from luxury beddings, delicate and deliciously comfortable.\n\nThe sleep’s quality is important and one likes to preserve it. Indeed, one will need a lot of energy to discover all the activities and entertainment provided by Val-d’Isère.
